We also host a leading pearl collection in Cornwall Pearl.
The Cornish Pantry
With its award-winning chefs, The Cornish Pantry doesn’t disappoint with its imaginative menu, tasty Cornish products sourced within 20-mile and all round great value for money, it’s always a good time to visit the Cornish Pantry All visitors with paws are welcomed with water bowls!
We want to ensure everyone enjoys their time at Cornwall Gold and the Pantry, so we kindly request that furry friends be kept under control and supervised at all times.

Workshop
See first-hand how they create stunning pieces of jewellery. We offer cleaning and repair services, as well as rhodium plating and simple friendly advice and consultation. Hugely experienced in their craft, we are proud to offer a bespoke design service, allowing you to create something truly individual that is perfect for you. A fantastic way to upcycle your old jewellery.
Pick-A-Pearl
Pick your very own pearl from a shell in our wonderful Pick-a-Pearl experience. Choose an Akoya oyster for £44 and learn all about your pearl and what makes it unique as we grade it together. You can then choose the perfect setting for your new pearl from a range of silver and gold pieces and watch as we expertly set it there and then.
Family Fun
There’s a world of creativity and exploration on offer from Bear Works and Create & Paint pottery. Pick up your pan and search for gold at Tolgus Stream Panning or enjoy a round of Krazy Golf fun for all the family.

Tolgus Mill
Discover Tolgus Mill – Cornwall’s last working Victorian tin mill. Built in 1865, its fascinating history is entwined with the lives of the Cornish tin millers who worked here. As you explore the mill, you’ll be whisked back to the past in this unforgettable heritage site.

Home to the largest collection of pearls in Cornwall, we offer an extensive range of freshwater, Akoya, Tahitian and South Sea pearls. Our staff are experts in their field and are happy to offer their expertise in providing bespoke design services and personalised talks or demonstrations.

Build your own bear at The Bear Works – the fluffiest and cuddliest experience in Cornwall! Choose a new furry friend, help it get made, pick out a funky outfit, add a voice box, make a wish on a star and place it inside your bear and then create your new friend’s birth certificate.

Cornwall Gold is located in the heart of Cornwall’s traditional mining district and our site was once an important part of this thriving industry.
Our main entrance is approached via a slight, paved gradient which spans the Tolgus Stream. We have disabled access in all the main areas including ramps, paved surfaces, disabled toilet and a lowered reception.
Please be aware that parts of the site, including Tolgus Tin Streaming Mill, have a small number of rough, uneven or gravelled surfaces which may not be suitable for all wheelchair users or those with limited mobility.
With designated blue badge parking bays and wheelchairs available for visitors, our staff are happy to provide assistance should you require it.
