The Tolgus Trail
The Tolgus Trail is 2.2 miles long and is best started at the beautiful Portreath beach where you can walk for an hour to reach Cornwall Gold. Here you can enjoy some homemade food or afternoon tea in our Cornish Pantry, discover our jewellery showroom and go inside Cornwall’s last remaining tin mill – all before a lovely walk back to Portreath.
The trail passes through farmland crossing the White River and at Portreath you can connect with the Coast-to-Coast Trail to Cambrose.
The Tolgus Trail is flat and almost completely off-road with just one main road to cross.
